100 crore indian brains can work and can focus on how to face terrorism instead of finding fault with failed state i.e. pakistan
01. data bank to be built, all the past terrors to be analysed, scanned and stratagies to be drawn.
02. intelligence force to be strengthened with training and equipment. If we borrow guidance from west it is not a shame we want result.
03.police, commodos, army to be paid well to avoid corruption. They have to be trained and equipped well and network to be streamlined.
04 dos and donts check list to be published - for common public - on facing the terror.
05. security for VVIPs to be streamlined and withdrawn or reduced as a meaninful excercise.
06 martyars are to be honoured, such that their family is proud to live in india.
07.Govt may levy tax from all afluent people and create a corpus to take care of all above affairs.
Take tough and right action against Pakistan’s terrorist immediately
Indian government should follow all the strategies which U.S and british governments are currently following to avoid terrorism .(after bomb blasts in U.S and U.K.)
All the police and politicians should stop trying to make money ( corruption), and try to work for the country.
Indian government should take help from international intelligence teams to tide over terrorism.
Finally ,all the citizens of india should take the responibilty .If they see some thing suspicious, they should immediately inform the police.
introduction of article 49(0) is a good step as it help in selecting right leader.govt can make stratigies so that no one can make missuse of tele communication.inter state borders should also need supervision and there should be proper accountability of crossing borders.
1. security forces must be well trained, well paid and must be paid much respect for performing their duty
honestly but they must be heavily penalized and punished if found guilty. No doubt ,they are the entry gate
of any attack.
2.Doors for peace process must always be opened. Genuine grievances or complaints from any corner or
from any one must be heard genuinely . Our leaders must always think the country above all not atall their
vested interest of politics.
3. Electronic media should not highlight the casualities, losses occured in attacks, though they may be /are
true but are certainly the success of enemy/attackers.Print media can do it for, we have least readership
On the other hand killing/killings or penalities/punishments of terrorists should be shown repeatedly by
electronic media. Certainly it would create a positive impact .
4.Moral values are dying so we are.
This is not the first time that India has seen terror attacks. So what is it different this time that there is so much of response. When we think a little bit on this line, one could clearly understand why.
Early the attacks were carried out in places where only lower-middle class ppl used to commute like the Bomb blast of the 2006 in the mumbai local train, crowded market places, buses etc. But this time around the upper class and the corporate citizens are the once who came under attack.
Till now we only saw ppl condemning the act of terrorism, no one came forward asking questions, this was because in the earlier cased the ppl affected had to move on, they had no choice, they had to earn for their daily bread. Even if some one wold have raised his/her voice would have been silenced. Such was the situation.
Only he understands the pain who sustains injuries. so is the case here. The Corporate class has now understood the pain.
These are the voices that cannot be ignored or silenced. I would have been happier if the corporate class had responded a bit earlier, the mumbai terror attack could have been avoided in that case.
Further more we are attacked not because they are planning effectively, it is only because of the lax attitude of our so called leaders however i prefer to call them politicians. They do zillions of promises to come to power and once in the assembly they dont even bother to recall the promises made.
The nation should be strong from within to counter attacks from external forces. Every move in India seems to affect us for a worser effect. There is no autonomous agency to handle such critical situations. Intelligence reports are lying on the politicians tables, insufficient arms for the armed forces.
If you observed the Operations by the NSG they were only using the semi automatic rifles and the snipers. They risked their lives to take out the millitents. Instead if they had the night vision equipments and the infrared equipments i think the operation would have been easier.
Every year the difference budget is fixed i am sure that the armed forces would be putting the requests to the defense secretary, But why is the request not acted upon. as it is known armed forces has no rights or no part to play in the procurement of the arms, the ministry of defense does it. And this is done in a standard procedure of the government: Lowest bidder gets the tender. And where there is government tender there is corruption and sub standard arms supply.
Corruption is the first disease to eradicated for a safer nation.
Politicians should keep away from the Military and paramilitary(Police) affairs. The military and the para military forces should be given autonomous powers.
1. Hang all those terrorists / extremists including Afzal Guru, sentenced to death by the courts. Lest there is a possibility of similiar attacks by the terrorists who may demand for their release by taking hostage of some other people/foreigners.
2.Implement police reforms expeditiously without further delay and arm the police to act independently.
3. Stop politicalisation of Administration including police and let the law take its own course, without intereference.
4.Stop appeasement policies to one section of the community and stop vote bank politics.
5.Let us learn from the foreign countries like US, UK and Israel who faced similar threats. and letus stand united at this hour without having religious/regional barriers.
6.Let our political leaders stop fishing in troubled waters like finding fault in encounter death of terrorists in which police offiers also died.
7. Let us make use of the Newly formed National Investingating Agency by extending full cooperation from all states without finding fault with centre/agency who is right or who is wrong.
8. Establish fast track courts for speedy trail unlike TADA court which is unable to give its full judgement of 1993 mumbai blasts.
9. The police should be armed with latest weapons, vehicles, communication system bullet proof jackets, etc.
10. More and more bomb disposal squads be trained inview of impending future dangers.
11. Introduce ‘Drop Boxes’ at all important market and bus-stands, railway stations so that the public can drop information on new persons coming/staying in their areas, their suspicious movements, manufaturing bombs/weapons/ prinitng fake currency, using the houses as dens etc as it isdifficult for police to keep watch on every body in thier limits. Let police collect these and take action as deemed fit.. This will also help people to avoid thier exposure and post complaint/info- harrasment of police.
12.The media to impose self restraint in dipicting the picures of actions / vicitims again and again which may offend section of people or provoke the community against the others.
13. There should be cooperation and coordination among all the intelligene agencies of district, state, centre(IB,RAW),defence and paramilitary forces in sharing information without going for prestige who is first or second in national interest.
1. Citizens with record of corruption should be banned from contesting elections
2.Corrupt officials should be sacked and strong action to be taken against them.
3. Pay and respect of law enforcement officials and armed and allied forced should be raised.
4. Top noth arms, equipment and safety gear should be provided to our commandos and police.
5. Employees of hotels and other public establishments should be trained to detect suspicious activity and report setting up of control centers etc.
6. Renting of apartments and homes neeeds to done through a regulatory body which is void of corruption and database of home owners and renters should be available with police and National Intelligence Agency(NIA).
7. Passport and Immigration offices should be more synchronised with NIA and police.
8. Maps of major establishments must be available with all law enforcing agencies.
9. Fire, Ambulance and Police should be trained and coordinated like the 911 services in developed nations and the 911 service should be refined and established for even the common man in an efficient manner. Even local constables should have easy mobility via car.
10. The Navy, Coast gaurd and Airforce needs to be in highly vigilant state even when there is no war and their lines of communication needs to be synchronized with NIA, intelligence agencies and local police departments.
11. Issue of Driving licence should be monitored very closely giving no room for corruption, and should be very strict not just in determining driving skills but in identifying the credibility of the applicant, to see if the person is a local resident or immigrant and if immigrant are they credible etc.
12. When employing people the employer should be given strict and clear instructions to ensure the credibility of the employee even with proper identification from immigration/police.
13.If we need to study the systems in some countries and get thier assistance to implement them in our setting we should keep our egos aside and do that quickly.
