Technically, it is not possible to carry out such an operation without local support. Ajmal Kasab would be knowing much better. What’s more important to understand is that religious intolerance is the root cause of terrorism. An intolerant religious ideology that believes that its god, its holy book and its prophet alone are true and everything else is false is the core motivation for terrorist attacks. It is this kind of ideology that Zaikur Rehman Lakhvi and Hafiz Sayeed subscribe to. This religious intolerance has given rise to huge global terror network of which Al Qaeda, Taliban, Lashkar, Jaish, Hizbul, Huji, Indian Mujahideen, SIMI… Unless the intolerant ideology is destroyed, terrorism cannot be destroyed.

The issue with the torrorists is a very complicated one. Even though it is well known that there are extremists in this world we cannot be sure about many different aspects that are crucial for their existence. That’s why I consider that when talking about such problems we have to be very attentive and analyze everything possible before talking over some important decisions.

A lot is being discussed in the TV and print Nowadays about Indian investigation and Pakistani investigations. I understand Indian Govt cannot send Ajmal kasab on Pakistani request to be interrogated there and help them in their investigations as he might go back on his confessions made here. In the present times, is it not possible to allow Pak investigators to interrogate Ajmal through Video Conferencing whereby the FBI can be a witness ??
The General feeling with all is that Pak today is in a very troubled state with no control over it’s major areas and the Taliban moving freely among the locals in most of their major cities like karachi, Lahore and Islamabad. I think pressure can be built on them if Ajmal’s Pak Interrogation is allowed thru a VIDEO CONFERENCING MODE which can be witnessed by the FBI. I think the entire thing should have transperency and should be witnessed by the entire WORLD.
