Thiruvananthapuram (PTI): Noted film-maker Jabbar Patel on Sunday inaugurated an exhibition titled ‘Paths crossed by Malayalam Cinema’ at Kanakakkunnu palace as part of
the ongoing International Film Festival of Kerala.

The exhibition displays the journey of Malayalam cinema from its beginning.

Antique cameras and projectors like Mitchel camera and Cine Paillard and other cinematographic tools like tripods and lights are on display. The exhibition also showcases a rare collection of photographs and albums from the history of Malayalam cinema.

Albums of all IFFK events so far conducted are also on display. The exhibition will be open till December 19, the concluding day of the event.

Chalchitra Academy chairman K R Mohanan and artistic director Bina Paul were present at the function.
