One nomination paper filed for assembly polls in Sikkim
Apr 2nd, 2009 | By Elections2009 | Category: SikkimGangtok: Only one candidate filed nomination papers on the first day of filing of nominations on Thursday for Assembly and Parliamentary polls in Sikkim to be held on April 30, an election department official said.
CPI(M) candidate Punya Prasad Koirala filed his papers from Namcheypong assembly constituency, Additional Secretary D K Pradhan said.
No nominations will be filed on Friday on account of a holiday, he said. — PTI
