Re-poll ordered

NEW DELHI: The Election Commission has announced re-poll on April 28 in 58 polling stations in Jharkhand, where election was disrupted during Phase I on April 16. Similarly, re-poll in 146 booths in Bihar will be held. The date will be announced later.
The commission has cancelled the Assembly by-election in Hazratbal, under the Srinagar Lok Sabha constituency, scheduled for May 7. This is because of “improper acceptance” of the candidature of an NC nominee.
