Dear Sir,

This banjara community is really suffered a lot in the development process of india. after independence of india, all the communities are brought under the socio- economic developmental schemes except nomadic banjara community.

This is the burning issue of country. this community is always uphold the diginity of the india but in the growth mode, it has been neglected. the governments either central or state should provide constitutional berths and implement the Renke Report at the earliest.

With regards,

Dr Tanaji Rathod

The Indian child is certainly weighed down as much by his/ her school bag as by the curriculum and our overall approach to education. I often see tiny kids carrying what looks like half their body weight in their school bags. Its just too ridiculous for them to carry a class work, a home work and a test note book-- why can't the same note book be used? There are several ways of doing that.

Overall, the task is far more complicated with the entire focus of the educated society on 'marks scored'. Schools with greater facilities and emphasis on extra- curricular activity can help foster individuality and well rounded development but this will require larger investments as well as other changes to be made by the government-- the least will be 7- 8% GDP spends for education and a shift in emphasis to primary and secondary school.
